Whether you're in the mood for a creative challenge or you're short on time or attention span, this semi-addictive community is perfect for those who find flash fiction way long. Once you get the hang of it, you won't be able to stop. The prince turned into a frog. The girl ran home to mother. Tough to write. Easy to read. It's a double threesome of fun.

Harry Potter Stargate xover

  • Nov. 9th, 2009 at 1:33 AM
Hi

so

I would like to find this story I've seen some month ago.
Its a Harry Potter story & a light crossover with Stargate :

Harry Potter had a public execution by Voldemort. But he return (ascended). There is an Order resistance (their HQ is somewhere with Alteran Ring transport). Dumbledore is ill or wounded, but Harry heal him with his (ascended?) powers. Nobody know about Harry's return, but Dumbledore & Hermione (if i'm not mistaken).

I dont remember if it's slash or gen or other....

Help me please (I loved this story)

PS: sorry for my awfull english, it's not my first language.

Non-fic: Updates

A couple of updates...

First of all, I want to thank you all for your comments, emails and IMs. I'm sure it goes without saying that John's death was a huge shock to me and to everyone who loved him. The lengths of time that I feel 'okay' are getting longer and longer, but I doubt that there will ever be a day that goes by in which I don't think of him. Thankfully, I'm surrounded by people, both online and in real life, who care about me and who have been helping me get through this, but it will be awhile before it stops hurting, if it ever stops hurting. Despite all of the rough times John and I went through together, I've lost a dear friend who was both unbelievably brilliant and amazingly talented, and the world is a much sadder place without him in it. I think I can honestly say that there isn't a single person whose life he touched in even the smallest of ways who won't miss him.

However, despite the recent tragedy, I do have something worth celebrating. I've been given an opportunity that most aspiring writers would kill for: to take some time away from the 9-5 world and concentrate solely on finishing my original novel. This means, though, that I have to actually work on my book instead of writing a few sentences here and there whenever inspiration strikes. Doing anything less would be unfair to the person who's investing so much into trying to help me turn my love for writing into something resembling a career. Maybe it will work and maybe it won't, but I have to try.

I've been on an unannounced hiatus from fandom for quite some time now, so nothing will really change as far as the frequency of my updates. I did want to share the good news with everyone here, though, because many of you have been instrumental in convincing me that maybe this is what I should be doing with my life. Thank you for supporting me, encouraging me, and especially for giving me constructive feedback over the last couple of years. I wouldn't have had the courage to even try to making a living from writing if it hadn't been for you.

But don't worry; you can't get rid of me forever. I'll be back.
